home win in the Combined Counties League this season when they defeated Merstham 5-0.
Southall had Tony McKenzie dismissed in the first half for two
bookable offences.
The result avenged the 7-0 defeat at Merstham

when Lewes were beaten 5-0 in a Ryman League Division Three
fixture.
There was disappointment for Southall Reserves as they lost 2-0 at

On December 12th 2000
Shane O'Sullivan was said to have scored six of the goals in the
7-1 defeat of Farnham Town although one of his goals was later
attributed to an own goal.
There was some debate as to whether he was the first person to
score six goals for Southall.
It appears as though this feat has been achieved before:
R. Graves scored a double hat trick and seven hat tricks in his
total of 45 goals in the season 1935-1936.
Frank Morrad scored six goals on THREE occasions:

minutes
at home to Broadfields United in the Semi Final of the Cardinal

Broadfields were all big lads, physically
stronger than us in all areas however there's no doubt that
Southall played some very attractive football. Footballing
wise, we were the better side, we just needed to have a couple
of bigger bodies to get amongst them.
