December 30th
The Combined Counties match away to Cove was postponed due to the condition of the Squirrels Lane pitch following the recent wintry weather.

December 28th
Fixtures for the remainder of January have been issued by The Combined Counties League. They are as follows:

December 27th
The match report of the Cranleigh game written by Andy Fitzsimons is now on the web site.

December 23rd
Southall proved to be their own worst enemy when they had three players sent off in the 1-1 home draw against bottom of the table Cranleigh.
Aisawi gave Southall the lead after 12 minutes and they continued to dominate the half. In a three minute spell just before half time both Roostan and Chambers received their marching orders. 
Midway through the second half O'Sullivan was sent off for a second bookable offence. Cranleigh equalised towards the end of the game.
Southall Reserves went down 4-0 at home to Spelthorne Sports Reserves

December 21st

December 20th
Two further high scoring away wins have come to light. They are:
October 23rd 1909 Amateur Cup 2nd Qualifying Round Polytechnic 7-1
January 29th 1910 West Middlesex Cup Gramophone 7-0

December 17th
The 7-1 away victory against Farnham Town is the first time that Southall has scored that number of goals away from home since they beat Carshalton Athletic 7-0 in the Athenian League in season 1959-1960.
Other high scoring away wins have been:

December 16th
Five goals from Shane O'Sullivan got Southall back to winning ways with a 7-1 win away to next to bottom club Farnham Town. Shane may also be credited with a sixth goal which was helped into the net by a Farnham player.
News of Shane's goal scoring feat was broadcast to the nation when it  appeared on BBC Ceefax page 312!
The Reserve Team fixture away to Broadfields United Reserves was postponed along with the Youth Team match at home to Greenford Town this Sunday.

December 12th
The match report of the Raynes Park Vale game written by Andy Fitzsimons is now on the web site.

December 9th
Southall slumped to a 5-3 home defeat at the hands of Raynes Park Vale. After dominating the first half and going ahead on the half hour through a Danny Penny header Southall allowed their opponents to come back into the game with an equaliser just before half time.
The second half started badly when Raynes Park Vale took the lead after 48 minutes but Steve Macenzie produced an equaliser five minutes later. The visitors then began to produce direct effective football which saw them score three more times before Macenzie scored a late consolation goal for the home side.
Southall have now conceded 15 goals in the last three matches.

December 6th

December 5th
Southall went out of the Middlesex Senior Cup at the first stage when they lost 7-2 away to Ryman Division Two side Edgware Town. The Southall goals were both scored by Dan Penny and Shane O'Sullivan was the latest name to be added to the list of players who have been sent off this season.

December 4th
The November edition of  Terrace Talk by supporter Steve Cullen is now on the web site

December 2nd
In one of the few Combined Counties games to beat the weather Southall went down 3-0 away to league leaders Ash United. To compound the misery Southall had Gavin Chin and Marvin Rufus sent off by referee Stevens.
Southall Reserves played at home against Brook House 'A' and lost 4-2 with the Southall goals coming from Abdullah Sufyani.
