February 28th
The web master has been advised that the much postponed Middlesex Charity Cup match away to Ruislip Manor will now be played on Thursday March 7th.

February 25th
The Middlesex Charity Cup match at Ruislip Manor was again  postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

February 23rd
Southall gained revenge for their opening day home defeat by reigning champions Cove when they travelled into Hampshire and beat the home side 3-1.
Southall were two up within fifteen minutes and although a goalkeeping mistake enabled the home side to reduce the arrears just before half time a goal  from Lonyo Ifale in the second half secured all three points for the visitors.

Southall Reserves entertained bottom club Broadfields United Reserves in their latest Middlesex County League Senior Division game but lost the encounter 4-1.

February 22nd
One hundred years ago today Southall entertained neighbours Hounslow in a replay of their Second Round match in the West Middlesex Cup. The two teams had fought out a 1-1 draw three weeks earlier.
Southall won the replayed match 2-0 to earn themselves a Semi Final tie at Hanwell against Hillingdon on March 22nd 1902.


February 21st
Please note that the Middlesex Charity Cup match against Ruislip Manor will take place on Monday February 25th and not tonight as was previously stated.

February 20th
The Middlesex Charity Cup match away at Ruislip Manor has been rescheduled for Thursday February 21st, weather permitting.

February 19th
Southall Reserves have been awarded three points for the Middlesex County League game on December 22nd which was postponed due to Southall Town Reserves being unable to raise a team.

February 16th
Southall secured a point with a 1-1 home draw against Raynes Park Vale.
The home side took the lead in the 35th minute but allowed the visitors to equalise just before full time.

The Middlesex Charity Cup match at Ruislip Manor which was scheduled for Monday February 18th has been postponed for a fourth time.
This is due to administrative problems. A new date will be announced as soon as possible.
Southall Reserves entertained  Premier Division League leaders Spelthorne Sports in Round One of the Open Cup and were heavily defeated 11-1.


February 14th
On this day in 1903 Southall travelled to play Civil Service in Round Two of the Amateur Cup. They had earned themselves this trip with a 5-1 home victory over Chesham Generals in Round One in front of 400 spectators at the Avenue Road ground.
At the end of 90 minutes the score was Civil Service 1 Southall 1. The game went into extra time and what followed was akin to a Valentines Day Massacre. Civil Service scored no fewer than seven times during the extra 30 minutes of play.
The game ended Civil Service 8 Southall 1.
February was a bad month for Southall as two weeks later they were thrashed 8-0 at home by Brighton & Hove Albion in a Southern League Division Two fixture.


February 12th
The web master would like to apologise to anybody who has experienced difficulties in accessing the web site over the last couple of days.
This has been due to problems with the host ISP, Freezone, which resulted in the web site being down for 26 hours.

February 9th
Southall visited The Orchard, the home of  Bedfont, with the hope of completing the double over their near neighbours but in the end were fortunate to escape with a point in a 2-2 draw.

Southall Reserves had yet another blank day when their Middlesex County League match away to North Greenford United Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.


February 4th
The Middlesex Charity Cup match away to Spartan South Midlands side Ruislip Manor was postponed for the third time, again due to a waterlogged pitch.
The match has now been rescheduled for Monday February 18th.


February 3rd
The winners of the forthcoming Middlesex Charity Cup match will now be away to Hanwell Town who had a walkover into Round Two due to opponents  Feltham withdrawing from the competition.

February 2nd
Southall Reserves had a blank day as their fixture away to bottom of the table Broadfields United Reserves was postponed.

The away fixture at Chipstead has been rearranged for Tuesday March 19th.
The home fixture against Viking Greenford will now take place on  Tuesday March 26th.
