With regard to the postponement of both the Sandhurst Town and Cobham matches the following is taken from the Minutes of the Meeting of the  Management Committee of the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League held on Monday January 9th 2006.

"c.  Minute 14:  Southall FC had failed to pay the outstanding fine of £350 by the deadline of 12.00 noon on Monday 9 January.  In accordance with the decision taken at the Disciplinary Sub-Committee Meeting on 3 January, Mr. Pharo had advised the Club that it was suspended as from 12.00 noon on 9 January.

A cheque had been received later that day, although not in the Club’s name.  Following discussion, it was proposed Mr. xx seconded Mr. xx, that the suspension imposed by the General Secretary be endorsed and that the fine should be doubled.  This was carried by 16 votes to 2.

Southall FC are, therefore, immediately suspended.  In accordance with rule 4.6, the suspension cannot be lifted until seven days have elapsed from 9 January 2006.  Consequently, the matches due to be played by Southall FC on Wed 11 January (Premier Challenge Cup v. Sandhurst Town) and Sat 14 January (Premier Division v. Cobham) are postponed.

Southall FC have been called to a special meeting of the Management Committee on 2 February, when all matters pertaining to the Club will be further discussed, including the two unplayed matches as above."
