Although this is the 120th recorded meeting  between the two sides since the first match in 1905 this is only the third time that the two clubs have been drawn together in the FA Cup  the last time being in the 1968-69 season when Enfield won 6-2 in the Preliminary Round.

After having gained promotion last season from the Ryman League Division Two Enfield now play one step above us in the Southern League Division One East. Their
results this season and the current league table can be found by following the highlighted links.

Southall supporters will remember Enfield as one of the most successful non league clubs in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. More information about Enfield can be found at this

The Non-League Daily.com web site contains the following article:

BATEMAN GLAD TO SEE THE BACK OF SOUTHALL

Southern League Premier Division club Chesham United have given groundshare tenants Southall the boot and the Combined Counties League outfit will now play at Nationwide South newcomers Yeading’s Warren.

Chesham boss Steve Bateman is delighted to see them go although he accepts his cash-strapped club will miss the revenue.

He said: "Our pitch could not take the wear and tear. I believe the reason we didn't get any top class opposition in pre-season was that clubs like Spurs, Watford and Wycombe weren't impressed by our pitch when they came here before.”

The above article is inaccurate as Southall Football Club was not 'given the boot' by Chesham United FC.
Southall Football Club chose not to extend the ground share agreement.
