July 31st
Three more pre season friendlies have been announced for Southall Reserves:
August 7th Parkfields Old Boys Broadfields 7 pm
August 23rd Signcraft Cranford Community Centre 4 pm
August 30th Hounslow Wanderers Warren Farm 4 pm

July 30th
Southall will play away to Spartan South Midlands side Amersham Town this Saturday August 2nd. The kick off time has now been confirmed as 4.30 pm.
Southall Reserves played away to CB Hounslow in a pre season friendly and lost 3-0.


July 28th
Asher Phillips, the Southall Reserve Team Manager, has announced a programme of pre season matches:
July 30th CB Hounslow United Reserves CB Hounslow United 7 pm
August 2nd Eastcote FC Warren Farm 4 pm
August 9th Ealing Assyrians Warren Farm 4 pm
August 16th Actual Soccer Warren Farm 4 pm


July 27th
The fixtures for the Seagrave Haulage League have been announced.
Southall begin the season on Saturday August 16th with a home match against Farnham Town. They then follow this with a trip on Tuesday August 19th to Raynes Park Vale. The following Saturday they are away to AFC Wimbledon.


July 25th
Southall will play a pre season friendly against Ryman League side Kingsbury Town. This will take place at Chesham United on Saturday August 9th kick off 2.30 pm.

July 24th
The web master would like to apologise for the problems experienced over the past two days in accessing the web site. The problems were entirely due to Freezone who host the web site.

July 21st
There will be a Practice Match  for current First and Reserve Team players at Warren Farm, Windmill Lane in Southall  on Thursday  July 24th starting at 7.30 pm

Any other players  who would like to play for Southall Football Club  are  very welcome to attend.

July 20th
The Samba Soccer Camp being held at Warren Farm is now in full swing.

July 18th
There will be training for current First and Reserve Team players at Warren Farm, Windmill Lane in Southall  on Tuesday July 22nd starting at 7.30 pm

July 16th
The pre-season friendly against our new landlords Chesham United has been confirmed as a 7.45 pm kick off.

July 14th
Former Southall Chairman John Gurney has lost control of Nationwide side Luton Town. The Second Division club has been placed into administrative receivership as a protective measure by Luton's major creditor.

July 11th

The Elite Academy, in association with Southall Football Club, is  running  a Samba Soccer Camp for children aged from 8-16 at Warren Farm, Windmill Lane  in Southall.

The camp runs  from July 21st - July 25th and also  from July 28th to August 1st.

The cost per child is £40.

The Samba Soccer camp features coaches from Brazil.

Southall Football Club has today agreed a one year ground share arrangement with Ryman Division One club Chesham United.

June 23rd
The AGM of the Seagrave Haulage League was held at Old Woking Recreation Club and was attended by the Chairman and Secretary of the Club.
At the meeting Horley were elected as members of the Premier Division in place of the now defunct Viking Greenford.
The draw was made for the Premier Challenge Cup. Southall received a bye in the First Round and then entertain Cranleigh in Round Two.


June 9th
The draws for the Middlesex Senior Cup and Senior Charity Cup have been made.
In the Senior Cup Southall entertain Ryman League side Wembley. The winners of this tie are at home to either North Greenford United or Enfield.
In the Senior Charity Cup Southall have received a bye into Round Two where they travel to play Spartan South Midlands side Hanwell Town
.

June 8th
Members of the Committee met on Friday night to discuss various aspects of the Club. Items discussed included Club Rules and Regulations, kit sponsorship, supporters and the development of a new ground.

May 24th 
The Presentation Evening of Southall Football Club was held yesterday evening at the C& L Country Club. 
Club Captain Chris Barrett scooped three awards; Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season and the Internet Player of the Season.
Alan Johnson won the Young Player of the Season award. Donal O'Sullivan was recognised with an award for Top Goal Scorer whilst brother Shane received an award for Goal of the Season.
The top four places in the Internet Player of the Season were:
1. Chris Barrett
2. Alan Johnson
3. Donal O'Sullivan
4. Alpha Bangura


May 23rd
There is speculation in the media that former Southall owner John Gurney is involved in the consortium that has taken over Luton Football Club and that former Director of Football Terry Fenwick is poised to take over the reins of manager from Joe Kinnear who was today sacked by the Nationwide club.

May 18th
As a result of the meeting with the Management Committee of the Seagrave Haulage League Southall Football Club has been fined £500 for continuing misconduct of which £200 is suspended until the end of the next season.
The Club was also warned that further significant misconduct would result in a special meeting being called under rule 17a which allows for the Club's continuing membership of the League to be discussed.
In attendance at the above meeting held at Godalming & Guildford Football Club were Messrs. B.S. Gill, A. Mehli, S. Sokel and G. Harrison.


May 12th
Southall Football Club is due to meet with the Management Committee of the Seagrave Haulage Football League this evening to discuss the abandonment of the match against Sandhurst Town and other related matters.

May 10th
Southall completed their 132nd season with a 2-1 defeat away to Ash United. In a well contested game the home side took the lead shortly before half time. Shane O'Sullivan had the chance to put the score level but his penalty was well saved by Andy Hunt. Southall pressure eventually brought an equaliser from Donal O'Sullivan only for Ash to take all  three points with a well worked goal in the 76th minute.
Shane O'Sullivan and Bob Jones were cautioned whilst Steve Macenzie was sent off deep into time added on after 90 minutes for a 'professional foul'.


May 7th
Southall Football Club regrets to announce the sudden death of Mr N.S. Rai whilst on business in India.
Mr Rai, who was the Commercial and Marketing manager at the Club and who had worked tirelessly to promote the name of Southall Football Club, died yesterday of a heart attack.

May 4th

May 3rd
A goal in each half was sufficient to send Southall to a disappointing 2-0 defeat in the return match away to North Greenford United and ended  their unbeaten run of eight games.
Southall were without Shane O'Sullivan and Andre Robinson both ill and Sam Turner and Tony Gordon both unavailable but welcomed back Chris Barrett and Donal O'Sullivan after injury.
Donal O'Sullivan was the solitary booking of the game.
